I’m really disappointed to leave this 2 star review. The front desk and the technicians are very nice, hardworking people. But the reality is that they have been out to my house 3 different times over 3 weeks and my AC is still broken. I never know when they will actually come to the house. The company services my units as part of a deal with the developer. It’s a new home and everything is covered under warranty. It’s 89 degrees in the bedrooms and I have little kids who cannot sleep in the heat.I’m very disappointed with how this has gone. I understand it’s a busy time of the year, but it’s time I find another company to fix the problem.EDITI decided to change this from my original 2 star rating to 5 stars.I appreciated the owners response to my original rating, and they fixed the issue right away. It’s busy season and I empathize.From the very beginning, the office and the techs were all very friendly and were a pleasure to work with.Will use them again in the future. 👍

They came out and repaired a leak on one of the freon lines on a split ac unit that they installed less that 2 years ago. The tech was very professional and diagnosed the problem quickly. He said some techs don’t install the gasket where the lines connect to the unit but was sure it was the problem. All said and done it cost over $400 dollars for him to replace a$0.5 gasket and recharge the system. When one of their installers failed to install it properly in the first place. It lasted just long enough to be outside their warranty. Buyer beware!

Cedric was very thorough and personable. He arrived to install a missing damper and realized that there was a bigger problem. Troubleshot the system and found a clogged drain which was causing the problem.

I’m not sure why they’re asking me to post a review, as I’m sitting here writing this, the AC in our brand new house (with brand new HVAC) is still out and has been for a week.We were set to move in last week when we noticed the day before the AC was clearly not working. Hobson deployed a tech out on Saturday to repair but he was unable to complete because the system needed a part they didn’t have in stock, and would take 2 to 3 days to arrive. Flash forward to Thursday, the part is finally in and they say they’ll get us on the schedule as a priority. I reiterated to the scheduling staff and tech that we’re not staying at the residence currently because it’s 90° inside and we have a baby at home, so if they can give us more specifics of an arrival time other than “today,” that would be great as I can’t sit in a house all day with a baby and no AC.The tech didn’t end up arriving until 5pm (i guess that’s priority for them), and after an hour, was unable to complete the repair with new part because he needed another tech to assist him for safety purposes. Not sure why this wasn’t noted with the first techs visit, but I digress. They were supposed to be back out this morning before 12pm (it’s now 11) and the only update I’ve been able to get is “we can’t get a hold of the tech right now.”So here I am, not holding my breath as we continue to couch hop until we can get into our new house. We’re under warranty with the company (the builder chose them) so I’m sure we’re not actually a “priority,” but this has been an awful experience and I would not recommend to anyone. I’ve dealt with a lot of HVAC companies (one for an AC repair and eventual HVAC replace in our old residence with wonderful experience) and this is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. From conversations with their scheduling team, they seem extremely understaffed which is not comforting for future service calls that I’m already preparing myself for, even though the unit is brand new.

Our AC unit has gone out four times in three months. They fixed it for all of three days. Told us it needed to be cleaned and charged us $260 even thought we are still under warranty and cleaning it only fixed the problem for three days.

Everyone was very polite and professional. Scheduled my appointment for Friday and advised that we were home all day and would accept any earlier appointment. They called me back when an opening became available and got my system repaired that day. The technician was kind and professional as well and advised what he was doing and what caused my issue. Will definitely use them again. Great customer service!

Not sure why they would ask me to leave a google review, I've got nothing nice to say about them. Wasted an entire day of my life when they confirmed, twice, that a tech would be out to repair my AC on a Sunday. He never showed. They never answered their phone. When a tech did show up after I complained on Monday he was weirdly surly and complained about my home builder misdiagnosing the problem. Just fix it, I don't need a lecture about your opinion of the person who built my home... and paid you for this. If I need work in the future I'll do whatever I can do get somebody else to do it.

As a customer of ALH, I must say the services and staff are above and beyond what I expected. Being retired military “EXCELLENT STANDARDS” and ATTENTION TO DETAIL” are critical when evaluating services being completed properly. William Kirby truly is professional, knowledgeable and very well trained at his job. As a customer I firmly believe a company’s employees and customer services speaks for itself. William Kirby did not place any pressure to buy anything and kept me informed of my situation. He provided a great service job and allow me as a customer without pressure to determine my best course of action for my budget and long-term needs. William Kirby truly exemplary ALH as a professional company with high standards. William Kirby, the AC Tech was totally professional and very knowledgeable of his jobs. Paula in customer service was also excellent when it comes to customer services and scheduling requirements. I have worked with numerous contractors in my former job. ALH services is price reasonable, professional and highly outstanding (5+) at their work performance. I would definitely recommend to others. A++ for William Kirby and Paula for outstanding customer support..they are definitely the standard to expect from any AC company....ALH is very fortunate to have them..thanks ALH..for a great experience and services.

Luis was a wonderful service technician. He diagnosed the problem with our air conditioner quickly and fixed the unit immediately. He explained what he was doing the whole time. My only problem with Andy Lewis/ Hobson is that it took a week to get Luis out to our house.

Last week i called due to water leaking from my AC vent and i was told it’s not a priority because some people don’t even have AC in their house working. Explain to them water was forming on the ceiling leaking in the floor but once again I was told it was not a priority. No one came out no one called until Monday then I was told someone would arrive today which is Thursday. For six days water leak from my air conditioner vent on the floor and in the ceiling and finally today a technician showed up. The technician was supposed to put silicone around two large holes in the furnace instead he told me he was gonna put tape if I wanted silicone then the builder could come put it in himself . I didn’t ask him what he was going to do about the condensation forming around the air conditioner vent he said nothing. I didn’t ask him what did he mean by nothing he said he needs to get a game plan and they will come back later I asked him why didn’t he bring the proper tools with him to fix the job the first time he could not answer. The entire time this technician had a major attitude very unprofessional very disrespectful and non-caring to the customer. Save your money save your aggravation do not use this company whatsoever.

The employees were polite, however we paid big dollars for an issue which wasn't resolved. I truly don't like to post negative, but I'm feeling taken advantage of, and we don't have money to waste. I would steer clear of this company, if you want honest repairs at a reasonable cost
